So now that you have made a booking request for a photo shoot you’ll be wondering what to expect on the day. You may even be a little bit nervous if you’ve never done anything like this before. Don’t worry though, I aim to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. I’ll even play your favourite music through the studio to help you feel comfortable. We have digital apps to help with poses if you’re unsure how to pose for the camera, but generally people are just themselves and it all works out fine without any assistance. But be assured, I am here to help as well as take the photos.
What should I bring?
I recommend picking out your favourite outfit(s) and bringing them with you, but I would advise not to wear them before arriving just in case something happens. We have a room that you can get changed in that you are welcome to use with a mirror. If you’d rather just wear 1 outfit and wear it to the studio, that’s up to you, but for best results, I’d always recommend getting changed upon arrival to avoid creasing or accidental spillages if you stop off for food along the way.
If you have a hobby, bring something that represents that hobby. if your child is having a photo shoot, get them to bring their favourite toy or teddy. If they play a games console, bring the controller with you. If it’s an adult, your favourite flower, or maybe a football. if there is an item that really represents your personality bring it along (within reason). For example, we can’t fit a car into our studio, however, on a nice day, we can sort something out outside our studio.
Your ideas are welcome too. If your friends have had a photo shoot done by me or someone else and you really like their photo, let me know, let me see it, and I’ll keep your ideas in mind during the shoot.
What will happen with the photos?
We will give you a copy of your photos taken on a different date after the shoot. We edit everything to make sure you’re getting the best quality possible. We will request a model contract to be signed to state you have given permission for us to use your photographs in promotional material. If you do not want to be included in any promotional material, then you would indicate this on the contract and we will make sure none of your photos are used for our promotional use. Don’t worry, it’s just to guarantee you get what you expect from me, and I deliver our agreed expectations.
Can I have additional copies outwith the packages offered?
Of course you can. We charge a small fee for additional photos from your shoot. If you would like additional photo copies, there is a small charge for this too. Our packages are available to make booking simple and clear of what you get in your shoot, but I am flexible. Bespoke options are always available upon request. Just get in touch with your needs.
What type of shoots do you offer?
I do not limit the type of shoots I offer. Anything you have in mind is worth discussing. Any type of shoot that you’re interested in, that you might not have seen on the website, just ask.
